Jesus IS financial peace [Devo]

Hey Reader

I had a profound realization recently: Some people think “If I just get my finances sorted out, I won’t have any worries anymore.”

Yet I’ve seen wealthy people just as stressed about managing and maintaining it as those living paycheck to paycheck.

So what’s the secret to truly being free from money worries?

You can’t buy peace. Jesus offers it as a free gift - simply because it’s what happens when you’re in His presence.

I’ve witnessed countless stories of people writing to us saying things like:

  • “I can’t see how this ends in anything but bankruptcy.”
  • “We’re gonna have to pawn our wedding rings to make it.”
  • “I’ll be making payments the rest of my life…”

But here’s what’s amazing: In each situation, we’ve watched as people turned back to the Lord in prayer, and He made a way where there seemed to be no way!

The Bible promises that “in this world, you will have troubles,” - but there’s more to that story.

Jesus has overcome the world, and He offers us His peace - a peace that passes all understanding.

This is how Paul could rejoice while sitting in a jail cell.

And it’s how you can experience true contentment whether you have much or little.

Because if Jesus is the Prince of Peace, then His presence - not our circumstances - is what will truly set us free.

Remember: Faith is the substance of things unseen.

If we’re only looking at visible circumstances, where’s our opportunity to grow in faith?

The truth is God’s promises don’t change based on your bank account. He won’t leave you. He won’t forsake you.

But here’s the real question: Will you accept the gift of His peace today?

Praying you would say yes to that invitation today, Reader!

Reader, I read 100 money books so you don’t have to (I know, you’re welcome ;-) And after all that reading, here’s what I discovered: Most money books overcomplicate things or use guilt to manipulate you Neither approach works. So here are five things you actually need to know about money instead: 1. You don’t need to be a financial expert to win with money. You just need a system. Most financial books give you 47 steps and expect you to execute perfectly. And that’s exactly why most people...

Hey Reader, For years, I tried to “help” God change my finances. I would try every method, technique, app, spreadsheet, or ‘wise’ worldly advice I could find… And I would wonder why He wasn’t blessing my efforts more. You might be in a similar situation where it’s hard to understand why God seems so distant from all your hard work. If that’s you, this weird story from 2 Samuel could really change your perspective (I know it did for me)… God killed a man for trying to help 🤯 His name was...

Hey Reader, can I break a common myth? The secret to financial success is rarely about earning more. Here's a mind-blowing truth: Every year, professional athletes go bankrupt while janitors quietly build million-dollar portfolios. In fact, 78% of NFL players go broke within two years of retirement. Often, the issue isn't how much water you pour in (income) but how many holes your bucket has (spending). Take Mike Tyson - he earned over $400 million but still ended up in $23 Million of debt....
